RocketBid
I was hired by RocketBid to develop their web SAAS offering to enable service professionals and consumers to meetup online. Service professionals signed up for a subscription level that allowed them to search and bid on jobs. When determining what jobs to bid on, providers were presented with job details and a mapped location to give them more insight on how to spend their time. Premium providers could also host their own web presence within the site infrastructure and be notified via email or SMS when new jobs matching their specialties were received.
On the consumer side, the customer could create projects for providers to bid on, and then be presented with those bids to make an informed decision on who to hire. Upon completion, service providers were then rated by the consumer to further bolster their online reputation. I handled all site development and operations including server setup, maintenance and disastor recovery.
